When Tiffani Thiessen was eight years old, she made her first commercial for The Peaches and Cream Barbie Doll. Later in her career, she participated in the advertising of milk and McDonald's restaurants. After getting into the beauty pageant circuit, she won the Miss Junior America Pageant in 1987, Teen magazine's Great Model Search in 1988, and was made Cover Girl magazine's Model of the Year in 1989.
