Lucy Hale (Karen Lucille Hale) was born on June 14, 1989 in Memphis Tennessee. Shortened to just Lucy Hale, or Lucy Kate Hale, Lucy was named after her grandmother, Jessie Kate Terry Caperton. The youngest of three, Lucy has a sister, Maggie, and a step-broher, Wes. At the age of eight, Lucy began taking voice lessons.
